Ever wondered how FBI agents catch globe-trotting serial killers? Or how journalists report stories about imprisoned international criminals? Here’s your chance to find out: You're invited to jump — risk free — into the world of transnational crime-fighting.

Join Michael Clarke, a veteran FBI agent formerly based in Bulgaria, and Nicholas Schmidle, a staff writer at the New Yorker and New America Senior Fellow, for stories about how they’ve fought crime, and reported on it, overseas. Clarke will divulge his international serial killer catching techniques, and he’ll discuss the evolution of the FBI’s role policing global crime. Schmidle will recount the stories behind his recent New Yorker profile of Viktor Bout, the world’s most notorious arms trafficker.
