What’s a great piece of software worth if you can’t use it the way you want? Whether you’re releasing your own software to the public or making use of someone else’s code within your product, you need to understand the basics of software licensing. In this class, we’ll cover the legal side of EULAs, GPL, copyleft, and much more in plain English, and we’ll walk you through the important parts of a license agreement so you can know what to look out for — whether you’re buying or selling.
