"You can kill a revolutionary, but you can't kill a revolutionary" was the mantle of late Black Panther Party (BPP) leader Fred Hampton. Leader of the Illinois chapter of the BPP, originated of the rainbow coalition (a alliance of Puerto Rican, white and Black youth groups) as well a major theoretician, Hampton was assassinated by Chicago police on December 4th 1969. Tonight we remember the legacy of Hampton and all freedom fighters with a special Black August film screening of "Fred Hampton in Chicago" a video shot by the Video Freex Collective. The screening will be followed with a discussion with Hampton's son. Chairman Fred Hampton Jr.
