Richard Sieburth, Professor of French and Comparative Literature, will discuss his new bookLouise Labé, Love Sonnets and Elegies, published by NYRB/Poets, and Jane Tylus, Professor of Italian Studies and Faculty Director of the Humanities Initiative at NYU, will discuss her book, Gaspara Stampa, The Complete Poems, The 1554 Edition of the "Rime," a Bilingual Edition. Ulrich Baer, Vice Provost for Faculty, Arts, Humanities and Diversity, will moderate the discussion.
