A series of screenings, talks, and public discussions that aims to explore the relation between critical thought and the moving image. Instead of viewing philosophy as a way to explain cinema or film as a means to depict theory, we will explore how these mediums can work together, confront each other, or even begin to merge in the interest of larger intellectual and political projects. The series will include film adaptations of critical texts, video essays about the work of specific philosophers, and projects based on collaboration between theorists and experimental artists.
