Over the past fifteen years, Professor Mark Lipton's research has focused on Chief Executive officers in the non-profit, for-profit and public sectors. His unique perspectives on the CEO role include work on vision, founder's dilemma, and a new article being released in April on the unexpected developmental challenges facing CFOs who desire to become CEOs. At this event, Mark will share preliminary findings of a large-scale study on how CEOs understand disruptions external to their organizations. What are the options they see available to react to these disruptions? Are they innovating in radical ways?
