The Earth Institute and the students of the MPA ESP program present #ParisAgreement; Climate Change and CoP21 - Whats Next?, a panel event with Scott Barrett, Juan E. Chebly, Steve Cohen, Michael B. Gerrard, Elliott Harris and Angelica Shamerina. Climate Change is happening; there is no doubt according to the scientific community. Experts on this subject will discuss the main provisions of the recent Paris Agreement on Climate Change and the difficulties and barriers that were present in this agreement process. A focus will be placed on the challenges and opportunities for regional and local communities, as well as on the role of emerging economies in implementing the provisions of the agreement. The panel will also discuss the changing political landscape regarding Climate Change and possible predictions for future momentum of UNFCCC actions. Open to the public. RSVP required.
